We currently have the following opportunity available: Assistant Vice President of AJ Wright Brand Marketing Responsibilities:In partnership with the VP Marketing Director, strategically plan, direct and execute the marketing initiatives of AJWright to generate incremental sales and attract new customers. Participate in the shaping of a strategic and cohesive annual marketing plan to achieve divisional objectives. Oversees the formulation and execution of AJWright national and local marketing programs towards our budget minded, multicultural consumer. Influence brand positioning and strategic development of brand. Formulate customer research program providing actionable data and provide meaningful analysis of market and competitor trends Create, manage and analyze media strategy Devise and roll-out a solid customer relationship marketing program Create a viable digital advertising strategy Lead collaboration with internal creative and branding agency Direct external communication programs including media relations, event marketing and experiential Drive a sponsorship and alliance program Devise robust metrics and evaluation program to influence marketing strategies, planning and budget process Manage, track and analyze marketing department budget Manage production and media for all marketing activity supporting new store openings, remodels, new store prototypes, consumer target groups and store operations projects Works closely with Store Operations to formulate execution framework for all marketing programs both on a national and local level Provides timely communication to field regarding marketing programs Participate in improving/developing store design and visual merchandising Participate and influence divisional management team, acting as consumer champion Provide clear and confident vision to marketing team Develop key marketing managers creating a strong, high performing team Create a clear succession plan, bringing in and nurturing high performing marketing individuals Influence senior marketing peer group, seeking best practice and leverage wherever possible15+ years extensive marketing experience, preferably Consumer Products and/or retail, client or agency side.Must have a strong understanding of budget conscientious consumer and fashion retail.Commercial acumen and ability to drive results Effective leadership and motivational skills, experienced manager Ability to work in both direct role and influence/partner with corporate services and central functions Solid holistic marketing development, strategy and execution experience Sound and demonstrable knowledge of contemporary marketing methods Full understanding of broadcast and print production process, media planning and buying practices across all media Effective negotiation and influencing skills Good industry experience/knowledge, retail and fashion Strong experience communicating to budget minded, multi-cultural consumer. Specifically, you will develop methods for categorizing and ranking data to ensure consistent coding of records resulting in more robust marketing campaigns-      Overseeing routine maintenance programs and outsourcing initiatives: (NCOA, SIC/Function Coding etc.) and assisting in the import of quality electronic data from outsourced vendors-      Managing in-house personnel involved in research of data and data entry: managing work assignments, providing guidance, evaluating results against industry standards, resolving problems arising from ambiguity of data and revising policies and procedures as needed.
